As a trained singer (baritone), Predrag Gosta's understanding of the choral art has allowed him to bring his expertiese and skills as choral conductor to the maximums. He holds the undergraduate degree and Postgraduate Certificate in Vocal Performance from Trinity College of Music in London, England, as well as Master of Music degree in Voice from Georgia State University in Atlanta (in addition to his other two Master of Music degress - in Choral AND Orchestral Conducting). During his training he has worked with well known choral conductors such as Alan Raines, John Haberlen, Melanie Jacobson and others, and he also had the opportunity to work with many well known singers, including Julianne Baird, Jennifer Lane, Emma Kirkby, Evelyn Tubb, Ian Partridge, Martyn Hill, Dwight Coleman and others.

  • Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker", with the Atlanta Youth Choir
  • Bach Cantatas with the Canterbury Choir
  • Monteverdi's "Selva Morale e Spirituale" with the Choir of Oxford College
  • Madrigals by Francesco Portinaro, with Chamber Vocal Ensemble "Vox Humana"
  • Cantata "Christ lag in Todes Banden" by J.S. Bach, with Emory University Concert Choir
  • "Dixit Dominus" and other Carmelite Vespers by G.F. Handel, with New Trinity Baroque

He recorded Giacomo Carissimi's two oratorios "Jonas" and "Jephte" with the Oxford Chorale and New Trinity Baroque in 2005, which will be soon released on Edition Lilac classical label. He will also record Christmas Cantatas by J.S. Bach, Monteverdi's "Selva Morale e Spirituale", as well as Francesco Portinaro's secular madrigals, for Edition Lilac.
